Pawlytics is changing prices

Starting April 1, 2024, Pawlytics is shifting to a new tiered pricing system. Read on to find out how this will affect your rescue. (Prices quoted are in USD)

  • Who does this price change affect?
If your typical bills are lower than $50 each month and/or you do not have a Pawlytics built and supported website, this price change will effect your rescue immediately.
  • Who does this change NOT affect?
    • Rescues who have newly subscribed in 2024 will remain unaffected until July 1, 2024.
    • Rescues who have a Pawlytics built and supported website (paid and published prior to July 1, 2024) will remain unaffected until April 1, 2025. You will then be notified of your tier size.
    • Rescues whose bills typically exceed $50 on an average month will remain unaffected
  • What is the new pricing structure?
Rescues who process less than 50 combined adoptions and signed e-contracts will now have a minimum base subscription as outlined below:

    Small Medium Large
    0 - 24 total combined adoptions/signed e-contracts 25 - 49 total combined adoptions/signed e-contracts 50+ total combined adoptions/signed e-contracts
    Base $29/month Base $49/month No change, $1/adoption and $1/signed e-contract

If you're combined adoptions and signed e-contracts go above your base subscription, you will revert back to a $1 per adoption and $1 per signed e-contract fee structure for that month. You will then go back to your base subscription the following month.

  • Will my tier change every month based on the number of adoptions and contracts we do?
No. We will re-evaluate tiers every 6 months (in February and August) to determine your monthly average and use that to determine your tier for the next 6 months. If there is any change in your rescue's tier, you will be notified by a Pawlytics teammutt before the next billing cycle.
  • Can I just pay for annual pricing?
No. Since we don't want to automatically bump you into the next tier when you have a busy month, billing will still run on a monthly cycle on the 1st of each month.
  • Why is this so confusing?
Because we locked ourselves in a room for 4 days straight (not counting food, potty, and puppy breaks) and called as many of you as we could to find a middle ground that would work...we didn't smell too great at the end of this.
You helped us realize that a flat fee for all would be a disservice to way too many of you, so the tiered structure allowed us to meet most of you in the middle while still being able to maintain and grow the software you've all come to love.
  • You said you would always be $1, what's changed?
The economy around us. When Pawlytics launched in 2019, our projections were based on a world where the pandemic didn't exist. Unfortunately since then, the rising cost of maintaining our daily operations means we've not been able to properly develop the features we know you desperately need to keep saving more animals.
Because we are so mission driven, we want to grow by being "customer owned and operated" and not through other means we've seen in the industry like forcing you to purchase something you don't need or use something your adopters will hate you for.
  • What do we get out of this?
Pawlytics will get to start building again. We'll get to fulfill the promises we made to YOU the rescuers, and not make shallow upgrades you don't care about.
  • How will it work? Will I just be billed on April 1st?
Nope. We know you're busy and some of you may not see this page until it's too late to object. Instead, we're going to opt everyone out of their Pawlytics subscription on March 18th, and if you agree to move forward with the new pricing model, your rescue will need to resubscribe to opt back in.
  • How will I know what tier I'll fall into?
The team will reach out to you to let you know your tier. If you still have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly through the chat bubble or by emailing support@pawlytics.com
  • I understand what you're saying, but I can't afford it. How do I cancel my subscription?
We get it. This new price means we'll no longer be a good fit for some of you moving forward. While we're sad to see you go, if you need any help getting your data out, please email support@pawlytics.com and we'll be happy to help. Since we'll be opting everyone out of their subscription on March 18th, you don't need to do anything and you won't be billed.
We hope we'll see you again as we continue to grow and add value to our feature set.
  • I still have questions...
No problem, we're happy to help. You can review more pricing FAQ here, or feel free to email hello@pawlytics.com, or use the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your Pawlytics
