Learn how to generate your length of stay report four different ways!
The length of stay (LOS) report will generate a list of pets along with details such as their intake and outcome information. Below you'll find the full list detailing what information is pulled into the report along with the options for which pets you need to report on.

First navigate to the Reporting tab inside Pawlytics and click Downloadable CSV Reports.
Scroll down to where you find Length of Stay Report and click Generate Report.
You have four options for generating the Length of Stay (LOS) report:
- All pets currently in custody:
This report will not just show the pets under your "Current" tab in Pawlytics. It will pull any pet whose last intake/outcome event was an intake.
You will not be asked to enter a date range and can simply click "Generate Report"
- Pets with an outcome during the selected date period (Outcome Based)*:
This report will pull any pet who had an outcome within the time period you select. Even if they've returned to your care at a later date. - Pets with an intake during the selected date period (Intake Based)*:
This report will pull any pet who had an intake within the time period you select. Even if they've since had an outcome event.
- Pets that were in care at any time during the selected date period (Care Based)*:
This report is not based on the intake and outcome dates. Rather, if at any point in your selected time period a pet was in your care, they will be pulled in this report.
*Please note: When you download your report, the date in the report name is the current date you pulled the report. It does not reflect the date range you entered for your data.
The report you generate will pull the following information:
