# What is Pawthority?

## A portal for donors and adopters to track their contributions and payments to your rescue.

Your donors and adopters will receive an automatic receipt whenever they make a payment on an invoice, through the payment widgets you create, or if you elect to send them a receipt from recording an offline transaction:

At the bottom of the receipt will be a link for your adopter/donor to **claim their Pawthority account**. They'll create a password to log in and see a hub detailing their contributions:

They'll also be able to download any previous receipts by clicking the appropriate Receipt Number:

Clicking the Monthly Donation tab is also where donors will be able to update their payment information or cancel any recurring donations if necessary:
