There are two ways to reset your password in Pawlytics: (click the option that best suits you to skip to those instructions) - [From outside your Pawlytics account if you forgot your password](https://learn.pawlytics.com/en/knowledge/how-do-i-reset-my-pawlytics-password#outside) - [From inside your Pawlytics account if you need to reset a temporary or shared password](https://learn.pawlytics.com/en/knowledge/how-do-i-reset-my-pawlytics-password#inside)   **From outside your Pawlytics account:** Click the light blue "Forgot Password?" button to the left of the log in button ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-4.png?width=531&height=371&name=image-png-4.png) You'll then be prompted to enter your user email to send the reset password link ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-16-53-0364-PM.png) This email will come from "no-reply@pawlytics.com" and may get filtered into your spam or junk mail folder. (You can add this address to your contacts as a safe sender to avoid this problem in the future.) Simply click the link to confirm you'd like to change your password and that's it! ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-08-02-29-8770-PM.png)   **From inside your Pawlytics account:** Navigate to your user settings page by clicking your name in the upper right and "Settings" on the bottom left of the drop down. ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-55-38-5575-PM.png) From there, look under your contact information for the "Reset Password" button ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-57-02-3484-PM.png) A dialog box will pop up asking if you are sure. You will have the option to cancel if you clicked this by mistake, otherwise click "Yes, I want to change" ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-57-41-1822-PM.png?width=688&height=122&name=image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-57-41-1822-PM.png) Once you click "Yes, I want to change", a confirmation message will appear notifying you of a reset email and prompting you to logout of your account. ![](https://learn.pawlytics.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2023-07-59-02-6988-PM.png) The reset email will come from "no-reply@pawlytics.com" and may get filtered into your spam or junk mail folder.
